I'm writing on behalf of Unite for HER, a nonprofit organization, to tell you about a breast cancer grant we offer to USAG women's artistic members. I've attached a recent press release, the grant criteria and application. We are asking each chairperson to pass on this important information to clubs in your state. We need the help of the entire gymnastics community to spread the word about this grant so we can get the funds to the gymnasts and their families who have been affected by breast cancer and would benefit from financial assistance. Information is currently available on the USA Gymnastics website (Women's page), or you can visit the Pink Invitational website (http://www.pinkinvitational.com). Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your support!

The time to help University of California,
Berkeley men's gymnastics is now!
USA
Gymnastics has been in contact with the administration of the University of
California, Berkeley, and the Cal Gymnastics Forever Foundation, which has
launched an impressive initiative to help men's gymnastics at Cal. At this time,
we urge you to support the efforts of Cal Gymnastics Forever. The organization
has raised more than $44,000 and received more than 100 letters of support. The
leadership of Cal Gymnastics Forever is developing a business plan to present to
the University next week, and they plan to include all letters of support, along
with a summary of donations and financial pledges.
The details and links for online donations and letters of support are available
through the group's website, www.calgymnasticsforever.com,
or its Facebook
page. The Cal Gymnastics Forever team has made it very easy to submit your
letters, including an online "auto-create" letter system that only needs you to
enter your name and contact information and click a button.
Please submit your letters and your pledges now so that your voice will be
heard. The gymnastics family has shown repeatedly what can be accomplished when
we join forces, and we would appreciate everyone's joining the effort to save
this historic and storied program.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for helping us make sure the men's
Cal gymnastics team celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2012.
